Big Lee and Sasha welcome you to The Hard Swallow, a rock and roll dive bar home to what we call The Nation of Drunks. Open for business from 12pm to 4 AM on the daily, this rock-n-roll joint hosts a variety of activities, be it drinking whiskey from dawn to dusk, the best birthday parties you may or may not be able to remember when we’re done with you, bizarre clown shows, heavy metal raves, and other special events.
We have a variety of booking options including party, filming, and event hosting rentals with hourly and daily/nightly rates with the opportunity to shut down and have full access to the bar.

“This place is an awesome throwback to New York back in it’s grimy gritty days. This is not a subtle place. The hard rock and punk music was blasting, the DJ was straight out of a movie. A sign in neon lights advertising cheap beer and booze on black walls with great artwork. There’s a chrome skeleton chilling at the bar and a black felt pool table in the back. Big Lee, the owner, was there dressed sharply, being cool and being friendly. There was a woman in a very short skirt and tiny top dancing in the window. You will have fun here.
